J.C. Lewis Serves donates delivery vehicle to PACK

J.C. Lewis Serves began a partnership with P.A.C.K. (People of Action Caring for Kids) to collect, donate and deliver school supplies. An immediate additional need was recognized.

“Being involved with so many aspects of P.A.C.K. from the donation collection, packing at their facility and delivering, it was easy to see their commitment to serving our community and recognize their need for a vehicle. 6100 deliveries of food bags were being made using volunteer’s trucks, minivans and SUVs. We are confident the Ford Transit will be a well-utilized tool to impact children where we live.” Julian Lewis, J.C. Lewis Ford.

P.A.C.K. delivered more than 32,000 bags of weekend food to children in 6 local schools and 10 community programs in 2017-2018. J.C. Lewis Serves continues its partnership with P.A.C.K. by having its team members spend weekly hours packing and delivering food bags.

Sunday, September 9 at 2pm P.A.C.K. hosted its community wide kickoff event and the delivery vehicle was unveiled for the volunteers.
