J.C. Lewis Matches Community Donations to the Coast Guard

J.C. Lewis Serves Matches Community Donations to Savannah-Area Coast Guard Members and Opens Its Dealerships as a Collection Site

Each $20 Gift Card Donation for Gas or Groceries Will Be Matched,
With the Giver Receiving an Entry to Ford Truck Drawing

SAVANNAH  (January 18, 2019) – J.C. Lewis Serves, the philanthropic heart of J.C. Lewis Ford, is committed to supporting the men and women of the Coast Guard who continue to serve the Savannah area even though they may not be receiving a paycheck at this time. To help Coast Guard members and their families, J.C. Lewis is opening its dealerships in Savannah, Statesboro and Hinesville as gift card collection sites. Through Feb. 1, members of the community will receive one entry in the Ford truck giveaway when they drop off a $20 gift card for gas or groceries at one of the dealerships. J.C. Lewis Serves will match each donation.

“We want to thank the men and women of the Savannah-area Coast Guard for their commitment to serve our community,” said Julian Lewis of J.C. Lewis Ford. “We are proud to be part of a community that has mobilized quickly to join their efforts.”

In addition to dealership collections members of the J.C. Lewis Ford team will be at Tybee Island City Hall, 403 Butler Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328, on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. collecting gift cards and registering donors for the truck giveaway. Location details will be updated on the J.C. Lewis Facebook page and at www.jclewisserves.com.

Gift card donations and truck giveaway entries will be accepted until Feb. 1, while the drawing for the new Ford truck will take place on Feb. 20. Each gift card donation is $20 because Coast Guard rules permit their service members to accept gifts up to that amount.
