Bob is a Navy Vietnam Veteran and USGC Auxiliary Member who Volunteers at Tybee Coast Guard each week. Bob paid a special visit to say thank you for our support of the Coast Guard and asked for a J.C. Lewis sticker to replace his old one. We received this email from Bob last week –

When I bought my car it had a J.C. Lewis sticker on the back gate, I took it off because I don’t like to advertise anything. However, I have changed my mind and I would like to get a new sticker to put on the back of my car.  What changed my mind is what J.C. Lewis did to help the local Coast Guard families during the recent government shutdown.  After that gracious and generous action I would be proud to have the J.C. Lewis name on my car.  I am a Navy Vietnam Vet but now I am a member of the USCG Auvillary and volunteer at the Tybee Coast Guard Station every week. These are the finest young men and women I have ever known and it was very moving to see you and the local community support them.  They really needed help but it isn’t in their nature to ever ask.” — Bob
